The initial merge, between the two iconic providers, aimed to deliver more services, supporting more people through all life stages and health needs.
Now to be known as Bolton Clarke, Chief Executive Officer Stephen Muggleton says the new name is the next step in bringing the company together, and honouring two key pioneers in community service – Lady Janet Clarke and Lieutenant Colonel William Kinsey Bolton - whose values helped to shape the organisation and continue to drive its purpose.
“The name we have chosen gives us a new identity that is true to where we have come from and allows us to communicate the depth and breadth of our organisation under a single banner,” Mr Muggleton says.
Since joining forces in 2015, the organisation has expanded its service offerings and its footprint in areas such as the remote consultancy and telehealth programs, reablement services across Australia, and designing and building new communities supporting active living and engagement.
“From the beginning, we have provided flexible and responsive care and support in a range of settings,” Mr Muggleton says.
“Our commitment to our clients and residents continues as we invest in expanding our services to support more people, giving them even more choice.”
Today, the merged company offers an integrated continuum of care services to residents and clients that match the needs, health and lifestyle journey of more than 4 million clients visited each year in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and China, 22,000 veterans annually and over 5,600 residents in retirement and residential care communities.
