The Eunice Seddon home offers affordable, high quality accommodation and care to 60 men and women aged 50 years and over and targets those from a financially disadvantaged background.
Located in Dandenong, approximately 30 kilometres south-east from Melbourne's CBD, this facility is two kilometres from the city’s main train station, main shopping centre and restaurant district.
Offering both residential care accommodation for men and women, this facility co-habits with Wallara supported accommodation for people with disabilities. Importantly, this makes possible the option of an elderly parent & disabled child continuing to live together.
Residents have their own fully furnished room and share ensuite shower and toilet facilities. There is an on-site hairdressing salon. There are many outdoor and indoor communal spaces, which help create an open and friendly place for residents, families and staff to share.
Providing a safe, flexible and caring environment, it allows you to maintain your chosen lifestyles, habits and activities and to be as independent as they choose to be. We promote independence with everyday activities and offer a recreation program that caters for your individual interests. We respect your right to drink alcohol and smoke, provided it doesn’t disturb other residents.
Our team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, and Personal Care Attendants deliver consistent and personalised care 24 hours a day, maximising health and well being outcomes, whilst respecting the choices and values of individuals.
The range of services available includes the provision of all meals and refreshments, cleaning and maintenance, laundry and linen services, assistance with personal hygiene and daily living activities, assistance with medication and treatments, access to a range of health services including podiatry and other visiting health professionals.
We have our own bus making the exceptional range of recreation activities all the easier to arrange and participate in. We also offer assistance with financial and legal matters and there is provision for individual room telephone and TV.
