Our Cowra Social Club provides day respite for the elderly and people with low to medium level dementia. We aim to relieve carer stress by providing a positive, friendly and secure environment with trained and dedicated staff. Meals are provided and clients who are able may be involved in the preparation. Transport may be arranged for those people who require it.
We offer an activities program which can involve bingo, cards, drawing, painting, knitting, pet day, special theme and events days, BBQs and cooking. Maintenance of the client’s safety and wellbeing is maintained through constant supervision. This means working carers have peace of mind to attend work knowing that the person they care for is safe and happy.
We are proud of our facilities, our grounds and our activities – but most of all, we are proud of our community. This is what makes BaptistCare special. We are a community of people who respect one another’s individuality, and who value the support & friendship that comes from an improved quality of life. We are passionate about life transforming care. This is because we practise it every day, in countless ways. At BaptistCare we encourage independence whilst strongly valuing the connections we share within our community. This is the BaptistCare difference. Together, we provide care you can trust.
The Cowra Social Club is open Tuesday to Friday 10am until 2:30pm.
